in collaboration with army DEVCOM, i engineered a low-cost, cell-free platform capable of expressing both custom biosensors and cytotoxic proteins. i also mentored 20+ students and served on the FIRE student leadership council.
wet lab chair · –
led development of a novel toehold riboswitch for miRNA-based cervical dysplasia detection. worked to translate into a portable screening assay backed by extensive literature review and data.
